PHILADELPHIA – May 10, 2022 – Good Life Companies has announced the hiring of Christopher Begbie as the Director of Business Development. In his new role, Begbie will be responsible for onboarding individual advisors and advisor teams to Good Life and educating advisors about the benefits of the independent space.
Begbie has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, working most recently as a relationship manager with LPL Financial. His industry experience provides him with the ability to counsel advisors at different points in due diligence and help them grow an entrepreneurial practice.
“As we enter into this current market cycle, advisors are seeking turn-key, independent support to give their clients unbiased advice,” said Conor Delaney, Chief Executive Officer at Good Life Companies. “This requires robust systems and support from advisor-focused enterprises. Good Life has invested a lot of time developing our offering to live inside of independent ecosystems, agnostically, and we feel like Chris is the perfect person to help advisors navigate through their journey away from large, advisor-last financial institutions to the right independent, advisor-first platform. Chris has both the tenure in the independent space and the tactical thinking to be a great consultant to our advisors,” said Delaney.
“Good Life Companies offers best in class service, technology, and strategic insight to advisors in the independent space. In our industry’s ever-evolving landscape, I’m excited to share the Good Life message and help advisors around the country align themselves with a group who understands and addresses their needs,” said Christopher Begbie.
Christopher earned his B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from Towson University, his MBA from the University of Illinois, and currently holds his Series 7, 66, 24, and insurance licenses. Chris resides in Riverside, Illinois with his wife Nicole, two young daughters Isla and Keeley. When he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, bow hunting, and watching Philadelphia sports teams.
